Metamaterial resonances have demonstrated outstanding abilities to control electromagnetic waves, which brings promises directly use them create unique channels for wave tunneling through barriers. Herein, an effect is realized by antiparallel dipole resonance in a multilayer metamaterial composed of pair metallic unsplit ring resonators (USRRs) with split resonator (SRR) sandwiched between them. The SRR known serve as barrier the incident at its fundamental resonant frequency. However, assistance “bypass bridge” formed magnetic response from excited on USRRs, tunnels barrier. Through field distributions and harmonic model analysis, universal conditions are found happen such configuration. As long thus bypass bridge formed, no matter what other sandwiched, still occurs. applications electrical wire connections integrated circuits regarding compatibility, optical cloaking devices, well designs both amplitude phase modulators.
